The Lynne Parks '68 SUNY Cortland Alumni House, located in the Tompkins Street Historic District was built by Charles Wickwire, Sr. in 1912. Charles was the patriarch of the Wickwire family that owned and operated Wickwire Brothers, Inc., a wire drawing mill, steel plant, and blooming mill on South Main Street in Cortland.
